We are a UK based marine consultancy company able to operate worldwide. We have experience in working in the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Renewables, Shipping, Nuclear and Civil. Working throughout the UK, Europe & Worldwide, we offer Marine Consultancy, Marine Warranty, Client Representation, Cargo Surveying and Lifting Services.

We have worked globally supervising lifting, loading and securing a wide range of cargoes including many components of wind farms. We have previously been involved with the Beatrice wind farm and provided client representatives on the Moray East wind farm looking after load outs/ins of piles, jackets and the offshore installation phase for pile prep and jacket installation. We worked with SSE on the Seagreen wind farm project looking after the Marshalling yard at Nigg in the Cromarty Firth which included all the load ins and load outs of jacket for the wind farm.

This last year we have been involved with a variety of offshore wind farms as Marine Warranty Surveyors for the load out and installation of all offshore wind farm components – monopoles, transition pieces, towers, nacelles and blades. We have also been involved in some oil and gas projects in the North Sea as well as off the west African coast. This has seen us involved in projects in UK, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and the Ivory Coast.

  • "Quay Marine delivered to an extremely high standard and made significant and important contributions to the successful delivery of the Foundations package on Seagreen windfarm. The scope of Seagreen work that Quay Marine were responsible for was the delivery and on-loading into Nigg marshalling harbour of all Seagreen foundations and onshore works prior to load out onto cargo barges for offshore installation. Onshore works included managing the preparation of the Seagreen foundations with guides and removal/addition of covers for offshore installation, then supervising the off-loading of foundations via ring crane onto transport barges, ready for delivery to the offshore heavy lift vessel for installation. Quay Marine performed their duties with an exceptional attention to detail, being the focal point for all Employer / Client related communications and constantly challenging the contractor to deliver safely and efficiently and in accordance with Seagreen employer requirements. Quay Marine had an outstanding and high-level performance on the project and further the Quay Marine personnel employed at Seagreen were very popular members of the project team, engendering a positive relationship and being instrumental in achieving better safety and operational performance by the Contractor.
